Course Overview

This advanced-level mobile forensics course is designed for experienced digital forensic practitioners seeking to develop expert-level capabilities in smartphone application analysis. Participants will engage in intensive hands-on training focusing on deep data analysis techniques across Android and iOS platforms using the Inseyets Physical Analyzer.

Learning Outcomes

Prerequisites and Recommendations

While no formal prerequisites are required, participants are strongly encouraged to have completed the Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) course. Familiarity with Inseyets Physical Analyzer is also highly recommended prior to enrollment.

Primary Tools

Students will work extensively with Inseyets Physical Analyzer (PA) for conducting advanced forensic analysis and validation, SQLite database views for comprehensive database inspection and recovery, and advanced search and examination tools integrated within the PA platform.

Course Certification Path

CASA Inseyets is not a standalone certification but serves as the final required course in the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) Inseyets pathway. The complete CCME pathway requires successful completion of three courses: Cellebrite Certified Operator for Inseyets (CCO), Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst for Inseyets (CCPA), and Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis with Inseyets (CASA).

Pre-work: Assigned modules must be completed before the start of class and will be included in the final examination.
