Date & Time:
  • November 9, 2026 – November 10, 2026
Location:
Humble, TX

This intermediate-level, two-day mobile forensics certification course is designed for digital forensic examiners and investigators seeking to master mobile device extraction and decryption techniques using the Inseyets platform. Participants will develop practical skills in unlocking, decrypting, and extracting data from both Android and iOS devices while learning to make informed decisions that maximize data recovery and protect evidence integrity.

Course Content

The curriculum covers essential extraction methodologies including logical, file system, and physical extraction approaches. Participants will explore how to handle devices in various states, from Before First Unlock (BFU) to After First Unlock (AFU) scenarios, and learn advanced techniques for addressing locked Android and iOS devices. The course also emphasizes pre-extraction decision-making strategies, enabling professionals to optimize their approach based on specific case requirements. Additionally, trainees will learn to generate UFDR reports that clearly document forensic findings for investigative support and court proceedings.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, participants will be able to understand UFED technologies and their role in mobile extractions, identify and evaluate mobile and cellular data artifacts, and apply encryption models to guide extraction strategies. They will develop proficiency in using Inseyets features to enhance workflow efficiency, select appropriate extraction methods based on case conditions, assess the value of SIM and SD card data, evaluate advanced extraction approaches for secured devices, and create clear, defensible forensic documentation.

Target Audience

This course is suitable for digital forensic examiners with foundational mobile experience, investigators looking to strengthen their hands-on extraction capabilities, and teams preparing for advanced mobile forensic certifications. While no formal prerequisites are required, prior completion of the Cellebrite Mobile Forensics Fundamentals (CMFF) course is recommended.
