The program provides an Industry Standard 5-year Armorer's Certification and covers all M16, AR15, M4, and AR308 type weapon systems and their variants.

Participants will gain certification in the proper maintenance, care, and repair of these weapon systems, including both semi-automatic and select-fire trigger systems. The curriculum follows manufacturer guidelines and is taught by experienced instructors whose expertise has been featured in SWAT Magazine, Guns & Ammo Magazine, Gun & Weapons for Law Enforcement Magazine, Shooting Times Magazine, and Precision Rifle Magazine.

Course Topics Include:

  • Weapon history and cycles of operation
  • Complete disassembly and assembly procedures
  • Nomenclature and component identification
  • Inspections, stress analysis, and parts replacement schedules
  • Accessories and upgrade options
  • Cleaning and maintenance protocols
  • Timing and suppressor considerations
  • Barrel replacement techniques

  • Piston and direct gas impingement systems
  • Ballistic issues and troubleshooting
