2 Day Law Enforcement Shotgun Armorer Course

Course Overview:

This intensive two-day armoring program is designed for law enforcement personnel and provides comprehensive instruction on duty and defensive shotgun systems. The curriculum covers pump-action and semi-automatic models from three major manufacturers: Remington, Mossberg, and Benelli.

Shotgun Models Included:

  • Remington 870, 1100, and 1187
  • Mossberg 500 and 590
  • Benelli M1-90, M2, M3, M4, and 1014

Topics Covered:

The course provides extensive hands-on training in field stripping, maintenance, complete disassembly and reassembly procedures, headspace evaluation, and wear inspections. Participants learn about action function cycles, trigger group assembly, barrel maintenance and repair techniques, forend assemblies, action bars, bolt components including extractors and firing pins, retractor springs, flex tab assemblies, ejector service, magazine tube repair and replacement, shell latches, and hookspace and stem adjustments.

What's Provided:

All necessary tools, instructional manuals, and reference materials are furnished by the training provider. Participants are required to bring their own shotgun systems to become familiar with their specific configuration and any custom modifications. This requirement ensures thorough cleaning, inspection, and allows for any necessary parts replacement or repair during the course.

This is a highly intensive program with substantial hands-on instruction. Students should come prepared for in-depth practical knowledge and skill development.
