Overview
This three-day conference brings together law enforcement personnel and school staff to address critical issues surrounding school safety and youth protection. Participants will explore evidence-based crime prevention and response strategies while analyzing case studies and lessons learned from relevant incidents in schools.
Training Focus Areas
- Understanding the effects of trauma on young people and implementing effective interventions
- Working with students who are managing mental health conditions and learning difficulties
- Recognizing current youth-related trends in social media usage and substance abuse patterns
- Reviewing effective prevention and intervention program models for school environments
