Interactive training to equip law enforcement and public safety professionals with practical tools to de-escalate crises, reduce stigma, and serve individuals experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges.

This 8-hour interactive training covers key topics such as mental illness, stigma, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and more. The course fulfills the requirements of Senate Bill 29, which mandates that all Field Training Officers (FTOs) complete 8 hours of Crisis Intervention and Behavioral Health training.

In addition, the class will feature a guest speaker who will share personal insights and experiences regarding the challenges of living with a mental illness.

The class is also ATA Reimbursement Eligible.
