Course Overview
This intensive three-day training program prepares law enforcement professionals to become effective instructors and facilitators. Course Objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Recognize and apply the core elements of lesson planning, course development, and instructional design
- Understand and utilize adult learning principles, different learning styles, and varied instructional approaches in training delivery
- Execute engaging teaching and facilitation methods using diverse instructional materials, technology, and multimedia resources
- Implement effective presentation and engagement strategies to optimize content delivery and learner participation
- Create a detailed lesson plan and deliver a brief, media-enhanced instructional session on a topic of their choice
- Assess training effectiveness and use feedback to strengthen future instruction and participant learning
