Course Overview
Law enforcement officers respond to motor vehicle crashes with greater frequency than nearly any other type of incident. Given the unique circumstances of each collision, oversight during the investigative process can result in serious consequences for those affected, the investigating officer, and the department. This comprehensive course examines all phases of crash investigation, spanning from initial scene response through courtroom testimony preparation. Participants will enhance their competency in crash investigation techniques and learn about the various resources available to support thorough and effective investigations.
