Instructor

Attorney Eric P. Daigle leads this training. As a principal in civil litigation practice spanning federal and state courts, Attorney Daigle brings extensive experience in civil and criminal matters encompassing civil rights actions, police misconduct litigation, and employment disputes, as well as premises and general tort liability. His consulting and expert witness work focuses primarily on police and security operations. Attorney Daigle has developed particular expertise in officers' use of force, including the training, investigation, and supervision of force, as well as the investigation and review of deadly force incidents across the country. In his role as a law enforcement consultant, he provides guidance and oversight to department command staff on operations, organizational structure, and risk management. He has assisted numerous departments in reviewing, developing, and revising policies to align with current police practices. Additionally, Attorney Daigle has served on independent monitoring teams and works as an auditor in reviewing police department organizational compliance with procedural revisions directed or overseen by the federal court system.
