Course Overview

This intensive, hands-on program is tailored for law enforcement professionals, forensic specialists, and investigative personnel who want to develop foundational expertise in photographic principles and digital imaging technologies. Participants will gain practical knowledge in controlling light, managing motion, and adjusting exposure across diverse environments, with particular focus on real-world applications in crime scene documentation and evidence preservation. Upon successful completion, this course fulfills Georgia P.O.S.T. requirements for the Crime Scene Technician Certification.

Participants must bring the following items to the course:

  • Camera with manual setting capability
  • Off-camera flash
  • Flashlight
  • Tripod
