PIO Training for First Responders

The D&L Public Information Officer (PIO) training program equips first responders with essential competencies for effective public communications. Participants will develop the ability to craft and disseminate appropriate messages to target audiences at the optimal moment, enabling sound organizational decision-making.

Cost: $425.00 per individual attendee for the 2-day course

Course Duration: 2 days

This training is ideal for first responders responsible for public communications, press release writing, or social media engagement on behalf of their agency. Participants will gain practical skills and resources applicable to real-world communication scenarios.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations may be cancelled by September 23, 2026. Cancellations not received by this deadline, including no-shows, are non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted up to 24 hours before the training begins.
