This comprehensive 24-hour course provides in-depth training on implementing and managing staff inspection processes within law enforcement organizations. Participants will gain practical knowledge on establishing inspection programs, selecting qualified inspectors and assessors, and integrating inspections with accreditation efforts to help agencies achieve and maintain certification standards.
The curriculum covers essential topics including the foundational definitions, history, and purpose of staff inspections; practical steps for building a dedicated inspection unit; various inspection methodologies; scope determination; employee survey techniques for evaluating current practices; integration with early intervention systems; development of inspection standards; and proper reporting procedures. A dedicated segment addresses budgeting considerations and the critical role staff inspections play in organizational operations.
