Course Overview

This specialized training program prepares law enforcement agencies to strengthen their operational budgets by successfully pursuing grant funding for training, technology, equipment, and personnel needs. As the only grant writing program in the nation that carries certification and approval from the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST), this course addresses the specific challenges and requirements unique to law enforcement grant applications. Both sworn and civilian personnel are welcome to attend.

Instructor

The course is instructed by Dr. Evan Sorg, a former New York City Police Officer, accomplished author, and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice who earned his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Temple University. Dr. Sorg has served as a grant reviewer for both the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice, and is a National Institute of Justice Fellow. His proven track record includes a 92% grant writing success rate and the securing of millions of dollars for law enforcement agencies nationwide.
