This comprehensive 16-hour course equips law enforcement personnel with essential knowledge for managing property and evidence from initial collection through courtroom presentation to final disposition. Participants will develop expertise in documentation, inventory control, disposal, and purging of all types of evidence while maintaining strict security and integrity standards.

The curriculum combines practical lectures on physical security measures for evidence storage facilities with critical legal considerations governing their operation. Instruction covers OSHA compliance requirements, modern storage solutions, and specialized handling for hazardous and bio-hazardous materials. Attendees will also explore proper evidence packaging techniques for both storage and testing submission.
