The course is designed to equip law enforcement and civilian investigators with the knowledge and practical skills needed to present bloodstain pattern analysis conclusions confidently in court settings while satisfying expert testimony requirements.
Intended Audience:
This training is appropriate for patrol officers, detectives (both newly assigned and experienced), investigation supervisors, crime scene technicians, medical examiner and coroner investigators, military investigative personnel, and prosecuting attorneys. Enrollment is restricted to active law enforcement and prosecuting attorneys employed by governmental agencies.

What to Bring:
Participants should bring appropriate clothing for field exercises that may involve bending, stooping, and working at ground level while measuring and documenting bloodstains created using veterinarian-provided, preventatively tested animal blood. A camera and documentation equipment are recommended for field work.
