Interviews and Interrogations
This comprehensive 40-hour course equips law enforcement officers with essential interviewing and interrogation skills critical to the investigative process. Most investigative information is gathered and cases are resolved through proficient interviewing techniques. This training provides participants with the knowledge, abilities, and professional approach necessary to conduct productive interviews in diverse scenarios—from homicide witnesses to traffic accident witnesses, domestic violence cases, and interactions with inmates or probationers regarding contraband.
The curriculum is organized around two main focus areas: interview preparation and interview execution, with emphasis on relevant case law governing interviews and interrogations.

Mastering professional interviewing is fundamental for law enforcement professionals across all assignments. Target Audience
This course is designed for patrol officers, detectives (newly assigned and experienced), investigation supervisors, crime scene technicians, medical examiner and coroner investigators, and military investigative personnel. This training is restricted to sworn law enforcement officers and personnel directly assigned to law enforcement agencies.
