Participants will gain practical expertise in identifying deception through three primary channels: handwriting analysis, body language observation, and statement evaluation.

Core Training Components

Handwriting Analysis: The program begins with graphology, exploring how the mind-body connection manifests through written communication. Students will learn to recognize personality traits, behavioral indicators of truthfulness, and identifying characteristics of deception within handwriting patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Kinesics (Body Language): This section examines how physical movement and non-verbal communication reveal underlying intentions. The training covers the communicative significance of hand movements, foot positioning, eye contact, posture, vocal tone, physical touch, and other behavioral cues that can indicate whether an individual is being completely forthcoming or withholding information.

Statement Analysis: Students will develop the ability to assess both written and verbal statements, including emergency 911 calls. The training covers statement length, structural breakdown, pronoun analysis, and recognition of critical indicators of deception or information withholding. Research by the FBI has demonstrated that agencies employing statement analysis techniques achieve a 6% higher case clearance rate than those that do not.
