Course Overview

This two-day training program is tailored for patrol officers and deputies who want to develop practical interviewing capabilities applicable to their daily road patrol responsibilities. The course requires no prerequisite interview experience and serves both officers beginning their interviewing journey and those seeking to enhance advanced techniques. Since patrol officers regularly conduct interviews with suspects, victims, and witnesses as a fundamental part of their duties, this course addresses the question of why officers must advance to detective roles before receiving formal interviewing instruction.
