POLICE OFFICER

The Haverhill, NH Police Department is accepting applications for a FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship, good computer skills, and both excellent oral and written skills.

Candidates must pass the following exams: physical agility, written exam, typing, oral boards, background investigation, medical, polygraph, and psychological. Applicants must be NH Police Standards and Training Council certified or be able to meet certification requirements.  Portions of the required testing may be bypassed by already certified officers if already completed reasonably recently. 

The Haverhill Police Department offers a competitive benefit package and salary. $44,720 to $56,600 based on certifications and experience.
