Stockbridge Police Department

The Stockbridge Police Department is a newly established, full-service law enforcement agency that officially launched on July 1, 2022. The department consists of 67 sworn officers and 16 civilian employees, and is led by its inaugural Chief of Police.

Serving the diverse and rapidly growing city of Stockbridge, the department is committed to 21st Century Policing practices that emphasize community engagement, transparency, and shared responsibility. With a service area of 13.31 square miles and a population of approximately 37,000 residents, the agency takes a proactive, partnership-driven approach to public safety.

Located in northwest Henry County, just 15 minutes south of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the Stockbridge Police Department is dedicated to building trust, improving quality of life, and enhancing public safety through creative problem-solving and meaningful collaboration with the community.
