MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Ship Bottom Police Department is to proudly serve the community by protecting the life and property of its citizens, enforcing the laws of the State of New Jersey, and working in partnership with the community to enhance the quality of life and nurture public trust. Our mission statement is based upon the following values:

Integrity: We hold ourselves to the highest standards of performance and ethics. We shall hold ourselves accountable for our actions both on and off duty, and take pride in delivering the highest professional level of service to all.
Fairness: We treat all citizens impartially, justly, and unbiased, through empathy and compassion.
Respect: We treat all citizens in a dignified, honorable, and courteous manner. Our conduct displays an understanding of ethnic and cultural diversity, both in our professional and personal endeavors.
