The Shenandoah Police Department is dedicated to serving the community with honor and integrity.  Agency personnel partner with residents, businesses, and local law enforcement to maintain a safe environment with a high quality of life.  The Police Department actively works to suppress criminal activity through proactive patrol, traffic enforcement, crime prevention measures, and effective community outreach.

About the Staff

The Police Chief manages 26 sworn officers and one Administrative Assistant.  Department personnel include a Lieutenant, who manages patrol functions, as well as, The Texas Police Chief's Association Recognition Program,  a Special Services Lieutenant, who manages the Criminal Investigation Division, a Detective, a Recruiting Officer, a Community Resource Officer, an Evidence/Records Officer, four Patrol Sergeants, 13 Patrol Officers, and two K9 Officers.
