The department currently has a complement of 11 full-time members.  The department is progressive and focused on using 21st Century Policing concepts and the latest technologies, equipment and training.

It is the mission of Palmyra Police Department to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety. We will work to develop positive relationships with our community and improve the quality of life for all community members.
