BRISTOL POLICE DEPARTMENT
Part-Time Animal Control Officer
PAY $18 - $20 per hour
New Hires will have an opportunity to work road details. Regular rate $56.00 hr Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM-Special Detail Rate $76.00 hr Weekends, Holiday after 3PM
The Bristol Police Department is currently seeking a Part-Time Animal Control Officer. Experience preferred but not required. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Must be willing and available to work various shifts and hours. Saturdays, Holidays, On-call to cover shifts if needed, and town events. Eight (8) hours a week (16 bi-weekly) plus alternating holidays. Additional hours are optional.
- Motor Skills: Must be able to operate a personal computer and/or most other office equipment, typing and/or word processing, filing, moving objects, and sorting papers.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Skill: Written and oral communication skills and attention to detail are required.
- Physical Requirements: Must also be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift/move up to 100 pounds or more.
