North Arlington Police Department
The North Arlington Police Department is comprised of 40 sworn officers committed to safeguarding the community with professionalism and integrity. The Department features a variety of specialized units, including Patrol, Special Operations Unit, Motorcycle, Traffic Safety, Detective Bureau, Drone Operations, K-9, Bicycle Patrol, and School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit. Additionally, the Department maintains a private firearms training range to ensure officers receive continuous, high-quality training and remain prepared to serve the community effectively.

Our mission for the North Arlington Police Department is to protect and serve all the people in an efficient and professional manner and to enhance the quality of life while instilling a sense of security within our community. It is critical that all members understand and support the organization’s mission. Our mission is our legitimate basis for existence and the basis of our professional ethics, goals, objectives, rules, regulations, operating policies, procedures, and practices. The mission is functionally defined by the power established by legislated authority and the demands for service from our public. It is the direct and ultimate responsibility of the administrative head to interpret public demands and, within budgeted resources, provide the best possible delivery or services.
