NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF:
Full-Time Police Officer
The Galloway Township Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Full-time Police Officer. Applications are open to New Jersey residents who are at least 21 years of age. Individuals who possess a full-time New Jersey Police Officer Certification or those with a Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II with waiver eligibility are encouraged to apply. The Galloway Township Police Department is unable to offer a waiver for out of state officers or those with a corrections certification.
Applicants for this position will be required to complete a physical fitness test that will tentatively take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Prior to participating in the physical fitness test, all applicants must have a medical waiver signed by a certified physician. A copy of the waiver is available in the attachments. After the physical fitness exam, selected candidates will receive interviews the following week on June 3rd or June 4th.
