Position: Emergency Dispatcher
Location: Southbury Police Department, Town of Southbury
Hours: Full-time
Compensation: $30.04 /hr. with benefits
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Dispatcher in the Town of Southbury. The role involves assigning police, ambulance, fire, and public works resources for both routine and emergency situations. The successful candidate must have the ability to multitask, communicate clearly (both speaking and hearing), and perform data entry tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dispatching or Telecommunicator Certification
- Power Phone EMD certifications
Responsibilities:
- Assigning resources for routine and emergency situations

Work Schedule:
- Rotating shifts
- Overnights
