NJ PTC Certified Police Officer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Shall be a citizen of the United States and a resident of New Jersey.
- Shall be at least 18 years of age and less than 35 years of age.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.
- Must have an associate’s degree or 60 college credits from an accredited college/university PLUSa minimum of 24 months of satisfactory employment history or military experience.
- Must be of sound moral character verified by a background investigation.
- Shall be in good physical condition.
- Must possess a full New Jersey Police Training Commission certification or be presently attending the Basic Course for Police Officers at a New Jersey Police Academy (Alternate Route) certified by the Police Training Commission or possess a SLEO II certification that is waiver eligible.
