- The Town of Berlin is seeking certified applicants for the position of police officer. Our hiring process is on-going and based on existing vacancies. We encourage interested applicants to apply ASAP. Your application will be kept on file for (6) months. The Town of Berlin Police Department is offering a Defined Benefit Retirement Pension Plan with a Normal Retirement of 25 years and maximum benefit of 65% at 30 years of service, the plan includes a 2% per year COLA.
- Certified applicants must have: A valid Connecticut POSTC certification card; out of state certified Police Officers can be considered for as a Comparative Applicant based on training and experience.
