ActivePosition: Business Development Representative is looking to expand its team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become a member of a growing company. Based in Meriden, CT - PoliceApp works with Public Safety Agencies across the US to find and hire applicants.


We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to perform outbound calls to potential and current agencies to build new leads and maintain lasting relationships with departments. The position requires an individual to work closely with the business development director to ensure accurate and effective quality leads.

In addition to we do business under, and The right candidate would have appreciation for the public safety professions, be self-motivated, organized and familiar with a structured sales approach. 

Essential Functions

  • Providing prospects and customers with information about PoliceApp's service & platform.
  • Meet productivity goals
  • Provide inbound call assistance
  • Attend trade shows
  • Serve as PoliceApp's professional representative when dealing with customer communications: via phone, email, etc. 
  • Document each call as per company and departmental policies and procedures. 
  • Follow up with potential customers in a timely manner if necessary. 
  • Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all agencies - Be able to establish a positive rapport. 
  • Be patient and understanding in all customer interactions. 
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
