About the Valley Shore Emergency Communications, Inc.


 

Valley Shore Emergency Communications, Inc. (VSECI), established in 1976, is a regional primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for 12 municipalities, providing Fire & EMS dispatching services to 22 individual Fire, EMS, and Advanced Life Support agencies throughout Middlesex and New London counties. We also serve as the Coordinated Medical Emergency Direction (CMED) center for 21 towns and cities throughout Middlesex, New London, and New Haven counties, which connects field units to area hospitals and coordinates EMS resources throughout the area.

Valley Shore is located at the State Police-Troop F Barracks in Westbrook, CT and utilizes state of the art equipment and leverages technology to allow our telecommunicators to provide the highest level of service possible.

    The organization provides these communities with centralized emergency dispatch services, ensuring prompt and coordinated responses to emergencies. Over the years, VSECI has expanded its services and undergone significant technological upgrades to meet the evolving needs of the region.

    The State Police (Troop F & Troop K) provides police services for these towns and handles the processing of all police related requests for service.

    Coordinated Medical Emergency Direction (CMED) services are provided to a total of 21 towns and cities, connecting services to:
