It is the mission of the Haworth Police Department to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety while working with all community members to improve their quality of life. Information about the community/area you serve:
Haworth is geographically a 2.5 square mile town with a population of approximately four thousand residents. We are located in the southwest portion of the Northern Valley of Bergen County and are predominately zoned residential. However, we possess critical infrastructure within our boundaries that services the water supply to Bergen, Hudson, and Rockland County. Like most municipalities in our county, we have multiple places of worship and educational institutions.
