POLICE OFFICER
TOWN OF GLOCESTER, RHODE ISLAND
GLOCESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Town of Glocester is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of probationary police officer.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid driver’s license. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED certificate. Applicants having at least 60 college credits in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement are preferred. Applicants must meet medical, physical and psychological standards and must pass an extensive background investigation.

Successful applicants must be available to attend the municipal police academy beginning in July 2023.
Previous candidates must complete new applications.

***Please note: The Glocester Police Department will only accept Fit to Serve certificate(s) for the Physical Agility portion and Written portion of our testing process. You must upload the Fit to Serve certificate(s) with your application on PoliceApp. The Fit to Serve certificate(s) must be dated within six months of March 3, 2023.
